I am delighted to reveal my new website https://alisonbaileysmith.com/ ahead of my return as an official Oxton Artist for the Oxton Art Fair returning on SATURDAY 15TH NOVEMBER  2025 (10AM-5PM) and SUNDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2025 (10AM-4PM) to the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum. The website has been created by Brandon Lee with images by Matthew Thomas who is based at Make on Argyle Street, with Lauren and Gill modelling my work. Bear with us as we fine tune the content.

The Oxton Art Fair founded in 2004 and I was part of that original event. This year it is celebrating its 21st year with 24 artists and makers — including eight guest exhibitors — at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum. I was heavily involved for the first decade of so and then took a long step back before returning as a guest artist last year.

Last year’s fair welcomed a record 1,700 visitors, and this year promises another vibrant weekend of creativity, conversation and inspiration. Visitors can explore painting, printmaking, mixed-media, illustration, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and more, with the chance to meet the artists, discover unique work and find original gifts ahead of the festive season.

Sadly two advertised Oxton Artists have withdrawn from the fair for personal reasons but we hope this year will be as full and as inspiring as ever, as well as providing solutions for your Christmas shopping list of yourself and others.

I am also taking part in the 5th Oxton Open Studios with two of my studio mates and one invited guest along with three other spaces with more artists. The tour is a not-for-profit collaboration of artists and artisans based in Oxton and the surrounding area. Together, they aim to share their creative skills and showcase their handmade work through Open Studio events.

Please note since publication Studio 5 has withdrawn this year’s tour due to unforeseen circumstances, but will be back in 2026.

A selection of my pieces will be available Christmas Eco Fayre on Saturday 29th November at St Luke’s in Hoylake. 1pm till 4pm. Cash only.

Current stockists are Jenny & Co in West Kirby, The Atkinson Shop in Southport, ACEarts in Somerset and through Folksy online. I am actively looking for new places to carry my pieces and to exhibit my larger works.
