Expect a Celtic connection at the forthcoming Oxton Art Fair with Mary Queen of Scots influence in my new pieces – a long standing inspiration and recently rekindled by seeing the new performance from Scottish Ballet. Expect a twist.

There will also be a nod towards my first job before I started at Edinburgh College of Art in 1985 with new pieces. Working for The Edinburgh Woollen Mill in the fabulous Romanes & Paterson shop on Princes Street, we sold and wore kilts and were steeped in the Scottish tradition of tartan..

I have been making more of my origami flame coloured stainless steel mesh earrings that are popular – two sizes each under £20.
