Inspired by my own very local natural environment – the stone wall next to my steps. A delicate plant that finds home in the failing mortar – is Maidenhair Spleenwort which is a small, tufted fern.

My first solo piece for Floribunda exhibition at The Atkinson Gallery in Southport.

My materials are mostly recycled. On my recent visit back to Edinburgh, I took two monitors to pieces.

And made multiple strands based on the ferns. Watch this space for more updates.
