Looking forward to the next event i am participating in on the 16th and 17th of November. Celebrating 20 art-filled years at the Williamson Art Gallery, Oxton Art Fair has continued to grow since 2004 when a group of talented local artists saw the opportunity to form a collective and promote their work. I was fortunate to have been involved as an exhibitor and organiser from 2004 until 2012 and later curated a retrospective in 2018. The Oxton Artists played a massive role in the campaign to support the gallery with their Extraordinary Postcards initiative which initially funded the gallery’s website and my former role as press officer.

Two decades later, it’s a big thanks to the Williamson Art Gallery for giving OAF the longevity and opportunity to exhibit in one of
Merseyside’s finest galleries. I am pleased to be returning as one of 8 guests artists along with Judith Brown who also showed in the first show in 2004 and for several years after.

A massive 1700 visitors came through the doors last year. Their best yet, making for a great track record. Made greater by continu-
ing to stand by their objective; to keep OAF fresh, innovative and inspirational to all who visit.
This year they have 13 members plus eight guest artists showcasing their art, craft and design over one weekend. So, whether you want to browse, buy or chat with the artists, you’ll be sure to find the perfect original
piece among the painters, photographers, printmakers, jewellers, illustrators, ceramicists, mixed-media and textile artists.

We hope you can celebrate the 20th anniversary with us. Sat 16th Nov 10-5 and Sunday 17th 10-4 at the Williamson Art Gallery on Slatey Road near Oxton Village in Wirral, Merseyside.
