We have been having a monthly studio opening to coincide with the new and highly successful Oxton Village Market on the last Sunday of the month since July and this Sunday is our date for October. Wellington Road Art Studios has had a seasonal makeover courtesy of myself, Jude and OLA.

In addition, we will also have a guest in Kat from ArtFix Supplies with her final items from the former shop at the Williamson so expect paint, brushes and pastels. We are open from 10am until 2pm and our recommendation is go to the food market first at the RAFA club as they open at 9am. the Caravan Gallery will be there and will have our flyers.

In November, I am taking part in the Oxton Art Fair at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum (16-17th Nov) after more than a decade of being busy with other activities. Looking forward to joining the other artists and my own work which is already on show in three cases in the gallery.

The following Sunday (24/11/24) will be our open studios again and this time with invited artist, Jess Keeler who was, prior to the pandemic, a Welly Road resident artist in the studios. She is a printmaker (as well as librarian).
Finally for November and tumbling into December, five of the studio artists plus felt-maker Viv Netherwood who is also a printmaker extraordinaire will be on show for Oxton Open Studios (30th Nov – 1st Dec).
Our final event for the year will be on Sunday the 8th of December when the studio will be open again from 10-4 with invited guest Artemis and Callister Gardens creating wreaths between 11-1.
Hope to see you at some point over the next few months
Alison
