Happy New Year – and new studio – I have just moved studios within @wellyroadart Wellington Road Art Studios and as it is a un-heated space (apart from plug in heaters) I wanted to be sure that it was as cosy as possible from the floor up.

Reusing donated mats from mechanics next door and old play mats bought when my grown up son was a baby in San Francisco, scavenged sound insulation from our local new music venue @future_yard skip when we were doing the @saving_rons_place exhibition last year, with a top layer created from a purchased piece of lino from our local end of use/reduce waste/community paint place @recipro in Wirral and donated thick plastic banners, I have created something in keeping with my branding and ethos.

There may still be a laminate section to add and this too was reclaimed – donated by my friend @sanna_king King and just found out donated to her by @messylines_ .
