Relax and Make Christmas Green continued

Relax and Make Christmas Green continued – in addition to workshops to create seasonal decor, we also had several organisations in the Maritime Gallery or Gallery 8 at the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum. We sought out Richard of The Cosmos Corner who had been involved with the education programme connected to Apollo Remastered exhibition which coincided with our first Wirral MakeFest.

the Cosmos Corner was in the corner!

Later relocating to Gallery 13 for Cool Wirral, the age old favourite building block, Lego proved to be very popular and we hope to see him again for our summer extravaganza.

A returnee exhibitor from the summer, was a stand from our Police friends (in the library in June), alerting us to cyber crime. Very timely as this week I had someone try to scam me through one of my online platforms. Be cautious at this time of year more than ever.

Always be safe online

And finally for this blog post, we were really delighted when Eco Schools officer Lynn Struve alerted us to an organisation from Comics Youth and as we had two people sadly having to pull out at the last minute we were able to accommodate them. I have attended a few educational conferences recently and continually in my notes, I had been recording must get the voice of the young people involved. So between CY and Strive, I felt we have made a good start for our plans for June 1st 2024.
