Last Saturday 26 makers gathered at the Williamson Art Gallery to Relax and Make Christmas Green with sustainable gifts and activities on offer.

The volunteers and board members of WACCLT who are the overseeing body that supports Ron’s Place did stalwart working creating Christmas cards and ornaments from waste Christmas cards and donated ribbons.

We had sustainable bunting and wreaths from Strive and Callister Trust with many people joining in. With hindsight next time, I will stretch out these activities within the gallery as they proved very popular.

We took over gallery six with Marie and Jo Burton and the good folks of Make it Happen who brought food with suggestions on what to cook.
