Recently my youngest left home to go to university and first we looked at what we had already to give him for his new home away from home. Then we looked in the local community shop and finally resorted to buying NEW. At least I say finally, we did actually buy additional stuff on campus as they have a fabulous recycling scheme where former students’ crockery, bedding, books can be purchased at a pay as you go price.
One of my second hand purchases was a weird collapsable green thick rubber fruit or mixing bowl, originally from the middle aisle at Lidl but purchased from the donations to The Green Community Centre and Shop. #Ernesto
Looked very practical but also impractical and was not surprised when off-spring rejected it for the Uni campus accommodation haul.
So my second plan came into operation! Transforming the material into something else.
